Shadow Fox
The sun in the east it stands alone,
And rays of day again they shone.
Rising up to face each day,
Looking for his yesterday.
Her moon he seeks but cannot find,
No access to the ties that bind.
Building; karma hands-on time,
Yet Always, Always on his mind.
Roses In The Pool
Your words touched
and electrified my soul
In a way so rare, I knew what it was.
Your eyes locked with mine,
and you had me.
Your smile, your laughter
An icy gulp of water in
the endless landscape of the desert.
I was never mistaken in loving you;
I was mistaken for not loving me.
Two To Tao
We weren’t meant to be strong,
our hearts were of silk
not the rough of the tilt
I said to you,
“look at us, we’ve reached the bend”
A turn so new
Yet not the end
Your eyes shut for a second time
And a deep breath you drew
As we entered our prime.
